Experience

Freelance Cartographer (2025 – present)

  • Focus on creating high-resolution and large-format printed maps of communities across the United States.
  • Cartographic tools used include QGIS, Affinity Designer, RStudio, and Python.

Adjunct GIS Instructor at RSCC (2024 – 2025)

  • Redeveloped the GIS courses for the program to incorporate ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online into the curriculum, which includes new assignments, projects, exams, and discussions.
  • Facilitated an environment for students to incorporate modern GIS tools, such as ArcGIS Survey123, ArcGIS Field Maps, and StoryMaps, into their assignments, exercises, and final projects.
  • Provided students with feedback on assignments, discussions, exams, and projects; tutored students as needed.
  • Coordinated with students and the embedded tutor to help students reach their academic goals.
