To cap off the 2025 #30DayMapChallenge, I made a map quilt featuring my favorite maps I made of Rhode Island. A few of the early maps had to be redone to include Block Island at my preferred scale.

At some point during the challenge, I realized how to make a custom page size in QGIS, and this would allow me to adjust the extent of the page size down a few millimeters to include Block Island while maintaining the same scale. This also gave the maps a consistent size.
Since the page size influences map scale, orientation, title, and map element placement; label size, density, and placement; and line weights and colors, maintaining the same page size standardizes the maps. This allowed me to focus on the creative aspects of cartography during the challenge.
